I thought this would be a thick and waxy paste, but it’s thin, moats, and doesn’t smell bad. It spreads on my dogs’ feet easily, and they seem to be fine with its smell and taste, though they only licked at it the first time I put it on.
My chocolate lab is my service dog, so his feet are exposed to every kind of surface you can think of, and his pads get horribly dry and rough. This seems to be helping to heal them, which we both appreciate.
Finally, the product is soft, thin, and clear. We have very light tan carpets, and it hasn’t left any residue that we have seen, even when the dogs come in from the snow. I will definitely be ordering the large container next time.
