I’ve been using this for several months on my german shepherd. I put on her nose (which otherwise gets VERY chapped) where it works much better than products like plain vaseline do. I also put it on her elbows where her skin gets dry and cracked. And now that it’s been a couple of months a small miracle has occurred — her elbows which have just had scaly skin for years are starting to grow fur back! Not a lot of fur, but a little fur is starting to grow back on her elbows.
Of course, I use this on her paws, how much varies on the weather & her walking. When there’s salt on the roads in winter, I use this daily. In spring when the roads are pretty nice, I use it about 2x a week. In summer with the hotter roads, I use it 3-4x a week. Her normal walking is 3-6 miles a day. Before using the product on her feet she’d get sore spots and then not be able to walk as much (especially on her back pads). Now I just get the product out and she lies down and rolls over to have her feet done, she’s figured out that it helps 🙂
