I picked this up for my two shelties when I heard a blizzard was coming our way. It worked great in the deep snow and pretty well ( I would say a 4 out of 5) with the ice. They did get a small amount of ice between their toes but nothing too bad and were still able to get outside.
It’s very easy to apply. You just apply a thin layer being sure to get between the toes. It’ has a very lightweight smooth feel. I wasn’t even sure I had gotten enough on at first but it’s there and working. Left their paws (and my hands) nice and soft. Not greasy at all.
