"I was using a nice herbal salve alone before. This would restore softness to my pup`s paws but did very little to protect them from lots of running on cement and patches of empty, sandy soil. Since using the Musher`s Secret, my pup`s paws don`t dry out anywhere near as much. Now, instead of using herbal salve every day, I can attend to his paws two times a week -first the salve (don`t know whether still necessary but I like the herbs!), wait a few minutes for his pads to absorb the salve and then work in the Musher`s Secret. His paws (and my hands) are in much better shape. Apart from the good results, I love that the scent -though apparently not botanical, is very subtle. Glad I found a large jar; this should last a long time with much better price per ounce than the smaller size."
